Card #34 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
I used the cheerful daisy stamp set
from stampin up for this card.
It might look a little upside down, but it
worked for the sketch so I just went with it.
The big decision in this card was if I should
double stamp the daisies with black ink, but I
chose instead to die cut out a matching piece in
gray and layer it behind the flowers.  I think it looks
a tad more softer this way.
I'm working on making sour dough.
This is my happy little starter today,
I was most excited to see bubbles.
To be honest I haven't been much into
cooking or baking since HP, so this is
a big step for me to keep trying to make
a loaf of this bread.  They say it's good
for a person.

The verse I chose for this card is:
Isaiah 40:8 KJV
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Card #33 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I will enter this card at:
The stamp set in this card is:
Rubber Stamps: Aloe There
I will say it does not stamp a nice clear
image but rather fuzzy.  Which frustrates me,
because I do so much enjoy the puns and the plants.
I didn't have the exact colors mentioned for the
challenge but I tried to stay as close as possible
with what I had on hand.  I made this card
for a friend that gifted me the sweetest
little plant.   It's in a lovely pot too.
If you happen to know what it is, please
let me know.  I do want to
keep it growing.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Isaiah 61:11 KJV
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth
the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God
will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Cards #30, 31, 32 for 2024

Hello Crafting Friends.
I needed to make a few Birthday thank you
cards.   I think this stamp set was
perfect for "bee-ing" thankful.
I will enter this card at:
Stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Flowing Flowers
Bee My Valentine
I decided to color in the honey comb after
stamping it, I used a light brown and yellow
to come up with the desired look.  I then
layered it on the sparkle paper.  The rest
was just simple stamping and cutting/punching
I did have to mask the sentiment so that it would
fit nicely in the space above the honeycombs.
I needed to make a few more cards so I stayed with
the simple concept and they came together quickly.
I think the first one is my favorite.
Which is your favorite?
The verse I chose for this card is:
Colossians 4:2KJV
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Card #29 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I made this card for my daughter who gave me
the most beautiful flowers for my birthday.
I used glitter paper for the background to give it
all the fun sparkle.
I then stamped the honeycomb image on white
card stock and colored it in.  After that I cut it out
and layered it with black cardstock, and placed it next
to yellow cardstock so it wouldn't be too overwhelming.
I will enter this card in at:
The stamps sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Bee my valentine, Flowing flowers

Below is a picture of the card with no light, check
out that sparkle.
Here is the bee-utiful bouquet my daughter gave to me
for my birthday.
I had a very unexpected surprise on my birthday.
We pulled up next to a truck in the parking lot.
It had four dogs in there and much to my joy
there was a springer spaniel, my heart just burst he was
so similar to my beloved HP, it's like he came
to wish me a happy birthday,  I cried so hard and
my sweet husband said some day we well have
another one, we just have to save our money
and prepare our hearts for another puppy to love.
But oh what a very unexpected surprise from the Lord
to show me a springer on my birthday.
God knows our hearts.  šŸ’—

The verse I chose for this card is:
Ephesians 5:20KJV
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father
 in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Card #28 for 2024

Hello Crafting Friends.
I'm trying to get back into the swing of stamping,
just don't seem to have that spark, but I will
keep trying, LORD willing it will all come back.
I made this card for my son.  I wanted something
fun and cheerful to show him how proud I am
of the choices he is making in life.  He will
be celebrating a One year anniversary and I wanted
to let him know I'm celebrating with him.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Watercolor shapes, happy & heartfelt,
one wild ride, brightest beauty.
Lawn Fawn:  Sweet Smiles
I suppose I could of used the bokeh technique, but
instead I decided to do a little masking and stamping to
make the background look like gumballs of all sizes. The
glitter washi tape on the sides, just gives the extra sparkle.
I made a few nugget boxes for the kids for Easter.
The DSP was a bit flimsy so I glued it down on
heavier card stock to make the boxes more sturdy.
My daughter sent me the "Peanuts" message below.
We always thought our beloved HP had the attitude of
snoopy.  So this is absolutely perfect what Charlie
Brown is writing, words just can't say how lonesome
we are without our pal.
I made little paw coaster for my etsy shop,
and decided to name it Heavenly Paws in honor
of our HP (Hunter)  I will see how well it
goes over, right now I have a coaster with a
little succulent planter.  I might just be making a group
of coasters to sell as well.  You can check out the

The verse I chose for this card is:
Colossians 3:23-24KJV
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord,
and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall
receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye
serve the Lord Christ.

Card #27 for 2024

Hello Crafting Friends.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Meant to be, wildflower path
His love
I've just not felt much like doing anything
since Hunter had to be put down, I feel like
part of my heart is missing.  I don't want
to clean or cook, I never realized how losing
a pet could be so devastating.  I now
got myself sick over this so been dealing
with that as well.   Nevertheless when I looked
at the calendar and realized how close Easter
was I thought I better make some cards.
So I used some bright cheery colors to reflect
Easter and spring.
I made a stack of them so I could get them
out to family and friends.
If you are a praying person, please will you
say a prayer for my health specifically my BP and eyes, and
my leg, I had a bad fall, and tomorrow I go to see if there
is a blood clot in my leg.  The fall happened back in January.
The Rx I'm on right now is causing some issues with
my eyes, and I have a few more days with it.
Also just trouble with a few other things that went
haywire too, but God knows. SO just praying for
healing in it all.  To His Glory.  Thank you dear friends.

The verse I chose for this card is:
Jeremiah 17:14KJV
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and
I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

Card #26 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Swanlake, Light & Peace
Studio G for the sentiment.
I just realized Easter is March 31st.  Goodness
gracious I best start working on some cards.  So
when I saw this sketch it just reminded me of the
tomb where they laid Jesus.  And hence I made
a card reflecting his Glorious Resurrection.
I then printed off the the lyrics to one of my favorite
Easter hymns you can listen to it here.
I added a few more items to my etsy shop if you you are
interested in having a look and see.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Luke 24:6-7KJV
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake
unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The son of man must be delivered into the
hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and
the third day rise again.
